Our Procurement and Logistics Department is organised as a matrix in order to provide the most efficient support possible in connection with the National Rail Administration's purchasing. The resources are combined in a dedicated department to achieve a high level of technical expertise and uniform execution of purchases.
The main task of the Procurement and Logistics Department is to provide management and operational/technical support in connection with the planning, execution and follow-up of purchases, so that the National Rail Administration is able to enter into beneficial contracts and the processes are in accordance with the Public Procurement Act. The department is also responsible for monitoring the central stores, purchasing and logistics for delivery of critical equipment.
